Hello @robger! Thank you for your question. In general, JPG images are great for photos, but they don’t perform as well for text and UI elements. By nature, compression can create visual artifacts on things like UI elements. The Dozuki cropping tool within a guide works well for maintaining the image ratio of 800x600 (standard size in Dozuki) and a clearer resolution. As more customers use images like screenshots, we’re working to support images that provide better detail. Moving forward PNG files that you use in your guides will remain as PNG so as to provide crisper, clearer screenshots. For further support, please email support@dozuki.com and include the image so we can better understand the problem. Let us know if we can help you further!
Hello @horacet53! Thank you for your question. Category names can be flexible, and they don’t automatically embed specific terms in the titles. While we don’t lock customers into a specific nomenclature for category names, we do recommend that customers develop a plan for how they will name and organize categories. You can reach out to your CSM if you would like to schedule a call and discuss potential options.
Hello @meckelnburg! Thank you for your question. You can combine guides by using prerequisite guides. Our prerequisite guide feature allows authors to create modular guides by adding prerequisites at the beginning of a “container guide” or by placing multiple prerequisite guides into an otherwise empty “container guide.” Important Note: Guides must have a published release before they can be used as a prerequisite guide. If you would like to know how to add a prerequisite(s) to an existing guide, use this guide on How to Add Prerequisite Guides.
