Why are screenshot images blurry when viewing in guides?

I have taken a screenshot of a web page on my computer. The image resolution is 1478 x 919. Format: JPEG.

The screenshot image appears great when viewed on my computer screen.

It appears blurry when imported and viewed on my Dozuki guide on the same screen.

Any ideas on why this is happening and how to fix this issue.

Hello @robger! Thank you for your question. In general, JPG images are great for photos, but they don’t perform as well for text and UI elements. By nature, compression can create visual artifacts on things like UI elements.
The Dozuki cropping tool within a guide works well for maintaining the image ratio of 800x600 (standard size in Dozuki) and a clearer resolution.
As more customers use images like screenshots, we’re working to support images that provide better detail. Moving forward PNG files that you use in your guides will remain as PNG so as to provide crisper, clearer screenshots.
For further support, please email support@dozuki.com and include the image so we can better understand the problem. Let us know if we can help you further!

Hello Rachel. Thank you for answering my question. Cropping the image using the Dozuki cropping tool solved the problem. Without doing this, the images were Blurry.

Problem solved!
