Setting up a run quantity in Work Order

Is it possible when creating a work order to enter a number of products on the work order.  Can the guide then loop itself the number of times required to complete the Work Order quantity?

Eoghan,

I have a few ideas, but could you please elaborate a bit more on what you're trying to accomplish? Are operators looking to complete multiple work orders simultaneously?

The way we currently work is a single work order could be anywhere from a quantity of 1 of the product up to a quantity of 100+ of the product. I was looking for a way in which at when entering the work order you could enter the quantity of the product we are producing so that the guide would repeat that number of times.

You could use a separate data capture field within one of the guide steps (in this case, probably the first guide step). It could be a text field for the operator to input quantity. That way, in the Timing and Data Capture reports, each entry will be a work order with a quantity, instead of 100+ individual work orders.
