You could use a separate data capture field within one of the guide steps (in this case, probably the first guide step). It could be a text field for the operator to input quantity. That way, in the Timing and Data Capture reports, each entry will be a work order with a quantity, instead of 100+ individual work orders.

Requesting a team signoff will trigger a notification within Dozuki for every member of that team. The request does not currently send an email to those team members, however we are considering implementing this feature in the future. Update: Since this answer was originally posted, team signoff requests do trigger an email notification for relevant team members.

Great question! Yes, you can use an external scanner to read a barcode into a data capture or signoff field. A barcode scanner will act as a keyboard wedge, meaning it will read data and then enter it in as text wherever your cursor currently is. This is a little friendlier when using a laptop or desktop computer, but it may be possible to use a barcode scanner that connects via bluetooth to a phone or tablet. Using the device’s camera would be trickier. This would require leaving the Dozuki site or application, opening up a 2D barcode/QR code scanning app, copying the text information, and then pasting that information back into Dozuki. This probably isn’t the best solution, however, because it sounds like you’re trying to address the tedium of repeatedly typing in responses/passwords. This may just create more work than it eliminates.

A guide’s time estimate is always going to be in minutes, and the shortest time that can be entered is one minute. Typically it’s best to be conservative with this estimate, considering an operator might be seeing and reading through a guide for the first time. You could alternatively write in an expected time (in seconds) in the introduction of the guide. This will appear above the first step in standard view and on the first page in operator view.

Hi @annek, documents will appear in the order they are added to a guide. To alphabetize, I’d recommend removing the documents and reattaching them in the intended order.
