Weird PDF Title Handling AND No Way to Rename?

Hi,

Problem 1 weird title

When I upload a pdf file, no matter what the filename is, the doc shows as "Presentation1" in Dozuki.

(I understand this may be some stray piece of metadata, but not easily accessible. I believe it'd be easier if Dozuki just defaulted to the filename as the default title...)

Problem 2 : no way to rename ?

Even in the (already cryptically buried) document metadata page, the only metadata that can be modified is the filename. Yet the filename differs from the name/title at least in my case.

Hi @filip!

Attached documents now display the filename for the document, not the document title from the meta data. You can also update the filename for an attached document, without uploading a new version: How to Edit an Attached Document.

You're right, we should provide a way to rename the document once it's uploaded. We don't currently do that. I'll add it to our work queue, though — it's a good idea.

The "stray piece of metadata" is the title of the PDF document, which is generally set in PowerPoint (or whatever tool you created the PDF with).
