It depends on where you are putting your images.

If you are uploading them for use on:

  • Wiki Pages
  • Item Pages
  • Category Pages
  • Introductions on guides

Then, the minimum resolution required for images is 300 pixels X 225 pixels with a max size of 7 MB.

However, If you are uploading them for use on guides– then, the minimum resolution required for images is 800 pixels X 600 pixels with a max size of 7 MB.

We have a number of photos that we would like to re-use and add to Doz. However they do not meet the minimum resolution. Any way around that, or should we look for other providers?

@gyorke71 for the best presentation/image clarity for you end users you will want to likely recapture those images at a higher resolution so they display well on a variety of screen sizes clearly. If you have images you need to use that are below the resolution requirement, there are third party software that will let you resize the images - sometimes we see customers do this temporarily so that those images are present as a placeholder while you are able to get back to capture higher resolution images. If you have specific images you need assistance with please reach out to support@dozuki.com and we can help you further.

Once you have the images loaded in Dozuki, Authors have options to copy the image back to their media manager to use in other places on the site, so the resizing would only need to occur once.
