What are Course Permissions?
Depending on the level of access needed, there are four levels, or "tiers" of permissions regarding Courses, from View to Manage.
Each level has all of the permissions and privileges of the level below it; for example, users that Can Edit still have the ability to View and Assign courses. Can Manage is the highest level of permissions, and is automatically enabled for site admins.
