Notification Overview

An overview of the notification system on Dozuki sites.

Users accessing a site can now use the Notifications tool to quickly receive and review real-time notifications as they navigate through the site pages.

Click on the bell icon to review unread notifications in the drop-down menu.

If all notifications are read, clicking on the bell icon takes you to the Notifications tab of your user profile.

Users can filter the display of your notifications, as well as see the complete timeline of every notification ever received.

User Completes Your Guide	X			The author of the guide.

When a new Release Version of a guide is published, all users who have contributed to, commented on, or favorited the guide receive a real-time notification.

When users mention another user's handle (username) in a comment, they receive a notification with a link to view that comment.

"User success" is recorded when a user successfully completes a guide without Data Capture. If a user has authoring privileges on a site, they receive notifications when any user successfully completes any guides that they have authored.

Note: Completion of guides using the Data Capture is recorded in Reports and is therefore not recorded as "User Success."

When users are added to a new or existing Approval Process on a Dozuki site, they receive a notification

Users receive a notification if they are removed from an existing Approval Process on the site.

Users receive notifications for the approval, rejection, and overall completion of all stages in the Approval Process assigned to that version of the guide.

A stage was approved.

A stage was rejected by an approver.

All stages approved, your guide will be published!

When users are assigned a stage of an Approval Process, they receive a notification when a new release of a guide requires their attention for review and approval/rejection. By clicking the notification, users are taken to the Approval Requests tab of their user profile to complete the review.

Users also receive repeated notifications every 24 hours for pending approval requests.
