Introduction

This guide demonstrates how to use the QR Code scanner feature built into the application to search for guides associated with QR codes on machines, products, or locations.

Looking to make it easier and faster for your users to access your guides? Now you can use the built-in QR Code Scanner in the Mobile app to find guides instantly!

  1. Use one of the many free QR-Code Generators available online to create QR labels for your products, machines or locations.

    • You can create different codes for different guide pages on your Dozuki site, then post them in the desired locations for users to scan.

  2. Open the App on your mobile device Enter you Site URL, email address, and Dozuki password to log into the site. Enter you Site URL, email address, and Dozuki password to log into the site.

  3. Select Search from the navigation bar at the bottom of your screen. Click the QR Scan icon on the right of the search bar.

    • If you do not see this option, contact us so we can activate the QR Code Scanner in your app.

    • The QR scanner will open through the camera on your mobile device.

  4. Hold the device steady and place the screen directly over the QR Code. Once the code is scanned, the corresponding guide will on in the app on your device's screen.

Is this still accurate?

Hi Jonathan, I believe this is still accurate for our old Android app specifically, but we no longer support the obsolete apps since we have new mobile apps (both iOS and Android) on the way shortly. We will likely archive this guide and introduce a new one for the new apps, since both platforms will have the same UI.
