  1. Navigate to the General section of your Management Console. Scroll Down to Document control to make sure Autonumber Release Versions is enabled.

  2. Navigate to your guide that you'd like to publish and Select Publish.

  3. Set the number you'd like your version numbering to start at. (This is for guides with previously published versions only—unpublished guides will automatically start at v1.0) This must include one decimal point. For example, if you wanted to start at version 1, you'd type 1.0.

    • Each new Major version will go up one whole number. (Ex: 1.0, 2.0, 3.0...)

    • Each new Minor version will go up one decimal point. (Ex: 1.1, 1.2, 1.3...)

    • Click Update.

  4. Fill out the optional publishing informaiton, if required.

  5. Click Publish.
    • Click Publish.

    • Your guide will now auto-number release versions.
