Introduction

This guide demonstrates how to manually translate a guide.

PLEASE NOTE: This feature is only accessible for sites that do not use the Version Control feature.

  1. Navigate to the guide that will be translated.

  2. Select Edit on the top of the page. Scroll down and select a Language from the dropdown. Confirm change.

  3. This is the Translation Page.

    • On the left is the original language the guide is authored in.

    • On the right is the language the guide will be translated to.

  4. Start translating by entering the translation of each section into the text boxes on the right side of the page.

  5. When a section is done being translated, there will be a green marker on the left of the text box.

  6. When the sections are done being translated, select Save Changes.

  7. Select a step to translate by clicking on it.

    • Steps do not need to be translated in order.

  8. Click Insert Translation Here to open the text box. Enter the translation of the corresponding bullet into the text box.

  9. When done translating the step, press Save. When save is pressed, the page will automatically be redirected to the Translation Page.

  10. Repeat this for each step in the guide.

  11. When a step is done being translated, there will be a green marker to the right of the step number and description.

  12. The entire document does not need to be translated at once. Any translations made will be saved and can be accessed at a later date for completion.

    • The progress of all translations are displayed on the language selection page seen in step 3. For example, the Spanish translation of this guide is 18% complete.

Good guide and well written. There are many other things but for proper translation, you should learn translation like UAEtranslation is providing best translation teaching in UAE.
